MemberSteven,
According to the Benchside reference tie in on top (think comparadun) and then split anf figure-eight into place adn finish with a drop of cement.
JWSuper Glue isn’t the answer.
Actually, wasn’t really hard to tie up

MemberThanks John.
I own a copy of the Benchside Reference, but for some reason I never think to look there.

?
Yeah, I work for a company headquartered in the Tampa-St. Pete-Clearwater area.

MemberCongratulations! Just remember, the new wife is the most important thing, but if you can squeeze in a little fishing, so much the better.
On the other hand, if you’re in Clearwater, FL and the new wife doesn’t let you squeeze in a little fishing, buckle in, because you’ve just signed up for a long, rough life. 🙂

MemberHi:
I am new to this board! Could not find any info by using the “Search” function. I was looking for ideas for San Juan River Flies. What led me to this site was Google hits on midge patterns that were good for the SJ and other tailwaters. Typing in the patterns in the search function got no hits. I typed “midge” in the search box but still no hits. 😕
I’ve a planned trip to the SJ for next week and the week after. ;D
His life was de-railed but once upon a time, nobody knew the San Juan better.

MemberMaybe Ron will loan me his feet if I make it up there this year Joel. ;D
Feet aren’t easy, but…
You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude.

MemberNot sure what a hot butt leader does for you that a high floating leader wouldn’t do.
