my wife already looks like she’s been painted with white paint – is that redundant?
she is one pale chick. spf 90 would do the same as spf 4.
and for her it does not matter what spf, she always burns -thus i’m teaching her to cover up all exposed skin. i’m going to get a canopy for dc united tailgates this summer just to keep her protected.
-she drove people all around dc the day before our wedding with her arm out the window. she came home with a cooked lobster colored left arm and a casper looking right arm. i was livid

i stopped using braided loops once i figured out how to use the tie-fast tool.
the braids get all filthy and sink after a while, however if you cut your line to tie on a mono piece, you allow water to enter the line.
i use 30, 40, or 50lb red cajun line. its inexpensive and i carry a few feet of it in my back or chest pack. i’ve had to tie on a new loop while in the middle of a bonefish flat and steelhead river. no time to play around with braided stuff and the little plastic collar that slides down.
we had one guy at our shop who would put on on the end of line and coat it with aquaseal to connect it to a bimini twist on his backing. that was a neat trick.

i bought a pack of them in breckenridge and they got crushed from the altitude change to here in Va. i’d like to contact them to see how often this occurs and if there is anything i can do about it.

i like the fly box before shots. be sure to take pics of those boxes after-showing flies either destroyed by fish or the ones that got lost.on a more random note, don’t forget to watch the toilet flush. goes in the other direction (coriolis effect)

good point. animals that move from water to water. something i did not consider.
i was thinking as a fisherman not biologist!
and just over thinking in general. the thought came after watching a movie i shot in colorado with us moving from colorado river to blue and tom tapping a frozen streamer against his net and the noise it made. it came out of the colorado wet and froze. then was used in the blue (not to mention the blue eventually dumps into the colorado if we had fished vice versa)zach is such a travel tease.
out of curiosity, could you post a pic of what the camera looked like? i’m either picturing a kodak disposable or some high end david doublet camera.
did you record a podcast while down there?

tom bought something like 3 dozen
ate a few in the car on way back to breck. i had a shredded beef n bean burrito. no time to photo, too busy eating.bought bison chile w/ green chiles and had over gnocci that night. soo good.
it was a good time. took my mind off my back pain and stress from work. just the pace of life out there is good for your health.
