Hey Mark did you not get your flies? I remember mailing yours because they were the sweet epoxy patterns… I still have an extra seet somewhere so if you didn’t get flies PM me and I’ll send em out.
I fucked up, sorry I’m disorganized had my fly box stolen with my contribution to the swap, then had finals, then had to move and was homeless for a while.

Hey Guys Sorry its been a while, I’ve been doing finals, moving out, living out of my car for 2 weeks etc I also had a box of flies stolen from me which had ones for the swap 🙁 at any rate I have everything ready to put in the mail which I’ll do when I get off work tonight, I just need the address from whoever sent the flies in the jewlery box (I think they were the hares ear soft hackles) so other than that one they’ll be priority mail and get to you guys in about a week.

There is no reason on earth to use braid as tippet, I don’t care about the visibility, I care about the fact that it cuts the crap out of your hands, doesn’t stretch, frays way to easily, is probably stronger than your leader or backing, is limp and super prone to impossible tangles.
I’m with zach #1 on hats, drift boats etc. #2 on letter head and bumper stickers. You could also get some decals of #2 made and put on all your rods, keep things branded.
One of the outfitters up here I talked to about a job says all his gear is marked with his logo, from his rafts to his dry bags, and I think he has the right idea on branding.
