Just finished Miles Nolte’s The Alaska Chronicles and am reading William Tapply’s Dark Tiger and John Larison’s Northwest of Normal.
Here are a couple more:
LeTourneau University in Longview (TX) teaches a couple of fly fishing classes. The instructor is Phil Rispin.
Tyler (TX) Junior College has offered fly fishing classes for at least ten years.

I’ve also been informed that BYU has a class, but I have no specifics at this point.

I know that Texas A&M has a course in the Entomology Department called “Aquatic Entomology for Anglers”.

Louie has been in touch with me as well. He’s hooked up with the local Trout Unlimited group in Hawaii and is selling their t-shirts to anyone he can. I’ve seen some worn by our chapter members at the Guadalupe River TU meetings.
If you are going to fish the Guad for rainbows, now is the time.
I started fly fishing and fly tying while in St. Louis, and so developed a relationship with Feather-Craft.
