MemberThis article contains some of the finest fishing advice I have ever seen and it applies to all types of fishing, not just steelhead:
“BE UNDER-EMPLOYED — The best fishing days never happen on the free weekends when your kid doesn’t have a basketball game, or during that week you penciled in for vacation back in April. Invariably, the steelhead are present and the conditions are perfect on a Wednesday when you have a big presentation at work.”
This piece of advice probably on average accounts for more fish than any other…

MemberHey Zach,
I know you are a very busy man, with the equivalent of about 3 jobs and a new house etc., but I live in a town with 1 total radio station and the iPod selection is getting worn out.

MemberJay,
Late September and early October is the best time to fish Colorado, IMHO.
Jay Hake
MemberJay,
There are a ton of possibilities for Colorado that fit all of the type of fishing you like.

MemberCameron, an old friend of mine’s dad was singled out by some losers who constantly smashed his mailbox up (everytime he put a new one up it was down in 3 days, max).

MemberAn Ambassador huh??………..
Completely off-topic, but still worthy of note
The person guiding your fellow ambassador Hayes Wauford holds the distinction of being the first person I’ve ever seen wearing a HAD while trout fishing.
Sigh…
As in wearing it like a sun mask or just as a bandana or something?
I have been using one for trout fishing for two years now, since I got one tarpon fishing in the keys.

Jay Hake
MemberThankfully, it appears so…
