Trout Boy II…where in SC are you from? I live outside of Columbia. There isn’t a lot of fly fishermen (and even less fisherwomen) around here.
WOW…I hope the wife realizes what she is getting…going from a Clearwater to a G2…that is a nice step up. The G2 line up is pretty sweet…and the Scott fly rod company seems to be keeping business gong in a good direction as well. They make all their rods in Colorado…and the two I have (“F” and a “V2”) are great rods.
Disclaimer…the only flies I tied are the Clousers…everything else has been collected from other tier friends(including two or three from the IA Fly Swap) and a fly shop here and there.
MikeA…that is a damn good looking boat.
Zach…whatever you do…don’t wear the PINK SHIRT with the lanyard…at least don’t take any photos if you do! That would get a few on some of the other boards buzzing and hate’in on you all over again…ha.
Siilver Doc…you must have been a REALLY good this year!
Besides the turkey…I haven’t gotten to use the Boga Grip much…but it is definately a nice piece of equipment.
I am sure from the magazine point of view that it is hard to fill ad space in upcoming issues when you just slammed thier product in the last issue.
The gun and ammo magazines are especially bad about this…but don’t get PoudreRiver started on that topic though.
ibookje…the wife and mother-in-law get a little crazy at Christmas…and I end up with some pretty sweet gifts.

I am still waiting on the McFarland Spruce Creek eight foot five weight fiberglass rod to arrive…but I am hoping that will end up being the go to rod for small to big trout water.
