I picked up three rod blanks at a garage sell for five bucks. Great deal but know I am having a tough time finding out what guides to use and the spacing on those guides. Do any of you know where to find this? The blanks are a G-Loomis 6 1/2 ft 3/4 wt model F783im6 and a Powell 6 1/2 ft 3wt model cedar creek and lastly a St Croix 6ft 3/4 wt model G-7034.

Thanks in advance for any input here!

I’m not big on sticking to a set guide spacing formula.

possible maybe for you: there is a spacing chart available on the SAGE website.

    I don’t know anything about guide spacing…but what a steal for $5.00.

I would agree with Carter, if you had experience in custom spacing guides on the blank, but I’ve built several rods and I still can’t tell exactly where the guides should go.

Thanks guys for all the good input. I think with the help of these web sites I should have all the info I need to pick this stuff up today and get started building these rods! I will try to get a picture of them when they are finished and post them for you all to see!

    Thanks again!
