I agree that the LAW is as good as it gets, but I think your sister-in-law would be hard pressed to get one before Christmas.

The Snowbee-Waldron that I think Ron Eagle Elk uses is a slightly cheaper vise designed by the same guy, might be worth checking out.

This is another one of your podcasts that I initially figured I’d have zero interest in, but got into quickly. Fantastic selection of guest, as well as engaging dialogue and interesting questions.
I’ve liked the St. Croix Avids that I have tried, but I’ve also heard very good things about the Cortland 8′ 4wt Brook series and the new St. Croix Imperials.
Oh, I’d be interested, but a lil’ bird told me that Santa decided it’s a Dyna-king Christmas. Probably need to hold off on the big purchases for a bit. Thanks for thinking of me tho.
Rich I hope you’re wrong. This coming year I had my eye on a G2 4wt and I’ve also been looking at their S4’s.

I don’t know if you make it to Vegas often, never been myself. I was told at Lee’s Ferry on the Colorado that they get alot of people of Vegas fishing there. I think it is a couple of hours away.
Hows the striper fishing coming along?

Lee’s Ferry is one of the places I’d like to fish before I die, but it wasn’t to be on this trip.
