MemberThere certainly are a lot of options missing (steelheading, salmon, wading large streams, etc.).

Memberi love the biodiversity on and around the flats. i had to choose that.
be it standing on the edge of a flats boat or wet wading, that is one of the most rewarding places for me to fishDec 1, 2008 at 1:46 pm #31455mike ormsby
MemberI put down the small streams for brookis option — but I would say wading any river for trout including steelhead is my first choice — I love fishing for large browns at night too

MemberWhat about surf casting in freshwater, or floating a rather flat midwestern river such as the Ausable in MI?

MemberSorry, I could only fit so many options. But anyways, thanks for voting, and this poll will be up here for a while. So any of you that haven’t gotten the chance to vote, you have plenty of time! ;D

MemberI picked floating Western US rivers, but that would also include wading (mostly). If I could afford it, I would love to float more 😀

MemberI struck up floating Western Rivers, but I need to elaborate it-
I’m a streamer chucking nut and it doesn’t have to be on a western river.

MemberI’m somewhat sad that I’ve only done a few of the options you listed.

MemberGreat poll! Hannah
If I going to fish one type in the rest my life, that should be a easy way to fish… I pick

John BennettMemberIm going to say walk and wade medium rivers. By medium I mean the average cast need not be more than 20 to 30 ft.
By far my dream would be to float ( Quebec) or wade one of East Coast Rivers in Nova Scotia or New Foundland like the Mirimichi for Atlantics. Its a dream for me and I dont think my Fly fishing journal will be complete until Ive done it.

MemberI picked salt flats, but my favorite is stalking the flats on Lake Michigan for carp. I wish it was spring already.

MemberFor me it was a toss up between small streams for brookies and ponds for panfish.
