I am curious about the favorite types of fishing everyone has.

i love the biodiversity on and around the flats. i had to choose that.
be it standing on the edge of a flats boat or wet wading, that is one of the most rewarding places for me to fish

I put down the small streams for brookis option — but I would say wading any river for trout including steelhead is my first choice — I love fishing for large browns at night too

I picked floating Western US rivers, but that would also include wading (mostly).  If I could afford it, I would love to float more 😀

If I going to fish one type in the rest my life, that should be a easy way to fish… I pick

Im going to say walk and wade medium rivers. By medium I mean the average cast need not be more than 20 to 30 ft.

By far my dream would be to float ( Quebec) or wade one of East Coast Rivers in Nova Scotia or New Foundland like the Mirimichi for Atlantics. Its a dream for me and I dont think my Fly fishing journal will be complete until Ive done it.

I picked salt flats, but my favorite is stalking the flats on Lake Michigan for carp. I wish it was spring already.

For me it was a toss up between small streams for brookies and ponds for panfish.
