I am also in the market for some new boots. I wore out a pair of Cabelas lightweight boots and although I loved em I’ve been talked into buying Aquastealth after reading this post and others. Cameron I think you did a great job of summing up why felt sucks.
I looks like the rest of the year, open to fishing. That shot would be alot cooler with a Polarized lens cover.
Two and half tall feet maybe? It was an awesome experience Zach. He literally stood still while I got within 30′ of him. He finally got bored with me and flew off without making a sound. They are really amazing birds. One other cool Owl encounter I had was when I was fishing below Tim’s Ford Dam with a nesting pair in a hollowed out tree just above me. I saw one adult Owl feeding another adult Owl a mouse. I guess the one being feed was stuck at home babysitting. I didn’t have my camera and I should be shot for leaving it that day.
I am starting to get a real itch for that D70 Zach. I might give you a call soon and let you help me take the plunge. Maybe you need to upgrade soon??? 😉

Angel Hair and even though there not new, Tungsten beads. Small flies tied with Tungsten beads have had a dramatic impact on my fishing.
Get back to work, you don’t have time to be on here fantasizing. BTW I’m headed to Cumby Sun with Bill Price. You wana pull the Tracker up?
25 yards for $12 vs 200 yards for $15 = $81 savings x3 = $243. IMO that makes it worth the .000 whatever difference to me. If I can’t get a pellet fed Trout to bite on 2# fluro then I’ll move on to a more stupid Trout.
I’ve been using this for awhile now and I honestly can’t tell any difference except price. I buy cheap mono spools and refill them with this stuff, 7X, 6X, 5X. Another cool thing about it is you don’t have to be conservative with your tippet and a full spool lasts forever.
