Where are you from?

Hi Carter…I’m in a little town called Deltona, about thrity miles east of the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. I fly-fish primarily on the flats over here for redfish, trout, snook and tarpon. I ran offshore for 12 years for strike fish (sails, marlin, dolphin, etc) then began guiding on the flats. I’ve since retire from all of the guide and captaining stuff and just fish for fun now. Do a little outdoor writing from time to time.

I’m in Little Rock right now, I fish for stripers, gar and stuff in the river here in town and smallies up in the ozarks.

I try and fish both coasts, but the way gas prices are sure is hard to slap 65 bucks worth of gas in the pickup and then put 27 more gallons in the skiff. >:(

Yep, I sure am glad I don’t fish offshore anymore! Jeeze, I can’t imagine…Especially fueling a 48′ Davis Sportfisherman. Feeding the “twins” was bad back then!

Hey flybug, yep, moved on. Nice place here, though. I’m still flingin’ flies at redfish on the east coast. Just put together a new 9 wt and 8 wt outfit and need to get both of ’em wet. Good to see you!
