The 3rd meadow is hike-able in a day if you pack food and water and you’re in good shape.

    Eric,

I am pretty sure the Troutsman closed when Kelly left and opened the Slid Inn in Montana.

    Nice pics and story Cameron.

For someone who makes his living off the health of the fish in the river, I dont blame the guy for being strict about how the fish are handled.

I was looking for a 10 wt TFO as a muskie/pike rod and personally felt that the TiCr was a much smoother, more enjoyable rod to cast.

    Eric,

If you are using it for trout flies, I just use a piece of 20 lb backing.

I ended up going with Carter’s advice on the placement and Mike’s advice on the adhesive just because I still have to get some goop.

If you like music when fishing and being on the water then great, good for you. I don’t, and I also don’t want to hear yours either. I especially don’t want to feel your music vibrating through the hull of my boat while being blasted by lyrics that make even a potty mouth like me cringe. Put on some head phones or turn the Sh!t off. Stop ruining my outdoor experience!

    Amen brother

It isn’t enough that they have no idea about etiquette on the water concerning their wake but to add insult they blast you with nasty rap music.. I swear to god one day I’m gonna install a trucker horn on my boat and just when they get close enough to touch as they often do, I’m gonna blast em with the full force of the horn. Sorry buddy but disrespectful people blasting music from wakeboard towers really piss me off.

You should install a potato gun in your boat and shoot them…Well shoot their boat…Well maybe just shoot by them and scare them…Ok, maybe even that is overkill but I know what you mean.

I’ve actually been on rivers where canoers have brought a water proof radio along.

    Simon,

I saw a photo similar to that one in a fly shop in Christchurch.
