MemberIf you like music when fishing and being on the water then great, good for you. I don’t, and I also don’t want to hear yours either. I especially don’t want to feel your music vibrating through the hull of my boat while being blasted by lyrics that make even a potty mouth like me cringe. Put on some head phones or turn the Sh!t off. Stop ruining my outdoor experience!
Amen brother
It isn’t enough that they have no idea about etiquette on the water concerning their wake but to add insult they blast you with nasty rap music.. I swear to god one day I’m gonna install a trucker horn on my boat and just when they get close enough to touch as they often do, I’m gonna blast em with the full force of the horn. Sorry buddy but disrespectful people blasting music from wakeboard towers really piss me off.
You should install a potato gun in your boat and shoot them…Well shoot their boat…Well maybe just shoot by them and scare them…Ok, maybe even that is overkill but I know what you mean.

MemberI’m going to concur with Mike. If I wanted to listen to the radio, I would have stayed in the car. 🙂
I especially don’t want to hear someone else’s radio.

InactiveI agree with Mike and others.
1. Most of our lives we spend behind a PC, in a car with music and advertisements, somewhere with a TV on (home, bar, etc). The constant bombardment from and of our “culture” is more than I can handle. The last place I want it is in the river. I like to hear the red winged blackbirds, hear a squirrl rustle up a tree etc etc. Even if the fishing is completely dead…to just sit in peace, is something that is too often taken for granted.
2. While the contraption that Zach has posted about is really quite cool…you can just add it to the list of one more thing that we are “told” we should have. The accumulation of “stuff” is really out of hand.
Am I the only person on this site who doesnt own an iPod??Jun 27, 2007 at 6:17 pm #17874Carter Simcoe
