You may have already heard this line, but the Cabelas 3 forks 3 weight is suppose to be an excellent rod.  It is about $50.00.  Aside from that I have heard good reviews of the finesse series.

I like these mesh back ones, if that is a possibility count me in, they are super ventilated for the summer months.
