MemberCreekside Deli sandwiches and then the 3 hour Creek X
miss it too much…you didnt sit on the saddles did you??JKI have fished that creek more than any when I lived there, the glass water is almost impossible, almost. The best spot is that spot upstream where you can see that riffle coming out. You were at the spot where if I had to pick out one place to hang out the last 3 hours of my life, that was it. I love those fish, they are all so different. Another great spot is down closer to where it hits the snake. The straight away hots the bank and creates a great pocket against the bank. It is great to see you fished it and that the fish havent changed much….great report

MemberMy partner and I caught 6 fish the first day, threw everything to every type of structure, drop-off, and deep water possible. We did not boat a single fish the first day that we could weight (needed 15 inches).
We pulled into the ramp expecting to be totally hammered by eveyone else. Turns out aside from the soon to be winner, we caught more fish than most aside from the fact none could be weighed.
The winner at that point had 12lbs, then it went to 4 lbs, 2, 2 and 4 to 5 boats with 0 lbs. It was hard fishing!
The next day it was even harder fishing, but a few boats got into some spots that had a couple fish that were 3 pounds. The winner pulled in 23 pounds (no clue how that happened) the next position was in with 9 lbs,, then 6 lbs, a few boats with 4 lbs, 3 lbs then we had one fish that could be weighted in at 1 pound. Having fished bass my whole life on fly and conventional, it was the hardest fishing I have ever done!
We had a blast though, and it was a fun event and looking forward to next year…hopefully Chickamauga lake.paul_puckett

there is “snobiness” in everything, it is just your calling to find out where you stand. -
