    Zach,

I don’t know if this has already been mentioned, but I would love to see a podcast with Dusan Smetana.

    Hi Zach

Thanks, great pod cast as per normal…

But Tims comments on the ridge line are not what I expected, intresting that he says it holds water, thus slides easier through the guides, but I am more concerned about the water spray on the forward casts…

    I learnt something again…

    Cheers
    Mike

    I fish Ultra Light…

    00w Sage TXL
    0W Sage SPL
    2W Scott G, 8’4
    2W Scott F 6’0
    2W T&T LPS 8’0
    3W Scott G 7’7
However, Ultra Light is 1 and less, 3w is still a thunder stick, the key is to understand what you want to do with them. Mine are for fishing tiny alpine streams, to fussy fish, with tiny flies and light leaders, and even lighter tippet.

You know what I miss?  I miss my wife and kid.  Seriously… :'(

I get the same way when I do go on a trip, a week or so, and all I want to do is get home for Junior to run out to the car for a hug… We often leave a little earlier than we should, just so I can see him before bed…

    Here is the rug rat…
    On Dad…

5wt XP, got him casting at least 5 meters.

Oh, btw, we also have an electric fence and gates, but those are for the cows!!!!!!!!

Mine are for the big bad bullies with AK47’s…
But I like your thought process…

    (bit off topic, sorry)

Mike, I was in Joberg for a few days with the Stones in 95 or 06 (?) and it was a real eye opener.. 😮
No disrespect, but by the last day I was very ready to leave.
I felt like the only guy in Dodge without a gun and the desire to shoot someone..

You should do like so many of your fellow country men and move to Sydney.

We call you the new boat people, that is you come here and get a boat.. 😀

Sydney has good trout fishing within 3 hours and excellent saltwater all around.

We just say, “You’re packing for Perth”, does’nt matter where you’re going…

    Right, READ THIS…

As some of you know, I live in South Africa, not only do we have the highest crime rate in the world, I live in Johannesburg, the most violent city in the world… I have electrified fence outside, an armed response company on speed dial and 2 massive dogs, and a cat…

My nearest trout stream is 3 hours drive away, and if I really want to do serious trout fishing, I must drive 8 hours, oh, did I say we have the second highest accident death toll per capita, in the world.

The next president of the country sings about getting his machine gun, he is accused of taking millions of dollars in bribes, and to top it off, while he was chairman of the AIDS lobby campaign, he was accused of raping and HIV positive 20 year old, while in court,

Hey Zach’s point 2 said, only thing they did’nt want was Browns…

And Franie take great pics, you gotto see some of his Pics from Cosmolido(sp).

And that should read, “grip(well back from head) and grin real quick”, not really something you want flapping around in the boat…
