Do not despair, I’m married and have two sons (a soon to be 4 year old and a soon to be 1 year old).

I get the same way when I do go on a trip, a week or so, and all I want to do is get home for Junior to run out to the car for a hug… We often leave a little earlier than we should, just so I can see him before bed…

Yep, the kids eat into the fishing time, though my boy is getting into fly fishing and that’s as big a buzz as fishing anyway.
