I know Mel is in a better place right now and I would bet he is either fishing or teaching casting. Truly a sad day

Fishing with my Dad on the Madison and Gallatin rivers, whitewater rafting the Yellowstone river with my two kiddos. Also going after Redfish on the Texas coast with a good friend of mine and have him yelling at me “I want a 80′ cast at 11:00 and I want it now”.

Hey Scott how was the Conclave? I went to the one in Bozeman two years ago and tested and passed the CCI exam. We were in Livingston during the conclave this year which is a long haul to Whitefish so I fished instead 🙂

I am thinking about testing for my masters in October at the Conclave in Mt Home. Yes I have heard the oral test can be pretty rough, I took a mini-pre test with a master in Montana last week and felt very comfortable doing some of the cast but others I need to tweak a little
