MemberHey Will –
Be sure to watch for the next issue of American Angler, man; we have a shortish article in Headwaters on the Tenkara products.

MemberNot flip-flops, Will. Chacos. 🙂 Good for all kinds of hiking. It was warm, and I had heard the hike into Trout Lake was very vigorous, so I wanted to be in something cooler than waders and boots and something less likely to give me blisters than a pair of relatively new wading boots (which, though comfortable in their own right, had raised some pretty sore spots on the hike into Slough). Hence the sandals. Very comfy; no rubbing in the heel area. 🙂 On our last trip to the park, I hiked into Slough in my old Chacos and wet waded there. That was much less pleasant, especially since I saw three snakes that day and just knew there were many more in the grasses around my feet that I couldn’t see. 😮
