Perhaps for round two when your logo items start selling real well you can spring the cowboy on em.

Hate to say it but a silhouette of fish is really hard to own – it falls into the public domain laws – i researched it to make sure. At least Joel’s is anatomically correct.

JT-What about the slogan? Is it still a secret?

I was going to keep the slogan a surprise… that was why I didnt post it. I dont know about Joel’s thoughts on that.

I know… it is kind of like playing where’s waldo.

I give you a little walk through

    1. Pole behid the Palm had to go – that means the reflection had to go as well, and fix the orange mess in the palm, (That is a blooming palm tree)

    2. Don’t like the light pole, and brighten up the sky while you are at it.

I didnt make I easy on Joel. He had 100’s to choose from -trying to feel out what he was looking for. I was real happy with this due to how many different ways it can be used – every element can be used on its own – I have worked with so many logos that are “set” and can only be used for one purpose – nightmare. There are about 25 more variations to the logos shown but they all work well together. We can use them on anything.

The concept part was hard because we really did not know each other and personality is a major part of a personal business. With lots of questions and a little research on where he lives – the Idea came fast. For example, the mountains are his home range and for personal reasons, I put Mount Powell in the middle – It is a silhouette of a Cut but that is graphically a hard one to tell, and the colors are personal to Joel’s history. Type faces can be difficult because it is like picking a wine or beer to go with a meal. Drink a stout with fish and you’ll know what I mean. OR heavy chocolate after eating fish… same sort of idea.

Thanks for all the great feedback.

I just take it out and put it in… TVs not big enough… Light Poles. Awnings on buildings. Motion on parked cars. The reflections on glass tables and water are the fun part.

I can’t understand it either. Skies and trees are one thing…

Me and the boss started working on the itinerary last night. She is probably itching for water time more than I am.

AND As I have told Joel. Time to stop the itching and start the scratching.

Planning a long trip from Boise to Glacier in early fall.

Truly learn my local fishing opportunities

    Reworking a career path.

Learning to raise our first born.

Getting all the cardboard out of the basement.

And living by the philosophy that Bob Riggins is learning.

    Ron,

I was digging through the Cattle Creek Site and after corresponding with you and Joel, I think I need to be heading that direction soon. We try to do a yearly visit to a different national park and I believe Glacier might be the next one. I also have a good friend moving to Boise which could make for a good fishing vacation – A trip from Boise to Glacier.

Sounds like you all have a good time up there.

Silly debate… but are there sub species within this species?

Careful now… I said I didnt know – And havent ever really researched it, I have researched the Cutts for painting purposes.

We don’t want to start up the Rod in your teeth and Air guitar madness. Lando will get you. 🙂

I have used the gradient filter in the past and it really does help. That skipped my mind.

The apartment client just provides poor photographs for brochure work. They do not realize that the cost for My photoshop time could be better spent and good photography. Taking out crime tape was not a joke.

    Thanks

    Great stuff.

I also know it happens to me quite a bit because I seem to fish on days like this one.

Honestly, I was trying to avoid the photoshop part and look for a easy shooting idea for the clients – but dont see it happening.
