Which reminds me. Has anyone here ever caught a Flounder on a Fly Rod? I have caught a few on accident and it was like pulling in a truck.

Thanks for the tips. I need to buy right now because tying over 4000 flies is just a little overwhelming for me. I tie a pretty good fly but I’m not up to the 100 dozen at a time stats like A.K. talks about in his books 🙂
A guy you will definitely like is Kyle Dawkins out of Athens. I recommend his first album “Conasauga” and yes it was named after the running bear in north Georgia.
I recommend the first album because it JUST sounds like your shows. It is classical guitar and banjo like you have never heard. The tunes Conasauga and the Crow really stand out – give it a test drive on iTunes. He also has done some studies with Christopher Parkening (Classical Guitarist and Fly Caster) Some of his new work is extremely experimental and has electronics in it so it is hard on some listeners.
You can find his stuff on iTunes and he has a web site. I was going to post his email but… If you do contact him, Let him know I gave you the shout out
One small issue, I am not a retailer and I do not have a tax ID… these are for me.
I’ll write them and let them know my situation and the amount of flies that I have to purchase. Folks have been great trying to help me get back on the water.
