This is one of the best fly fishing videos I have seen, The passion these guys show is truly inspiring.
If I am not mistaking the new rods are not replaceing the GlX rods so you probably not see a price reduction.
I highly recomend Captain Jeff Becker out of Oreint Point NY. He fishes the North Fork of Long Island worth the trip out there, about 2hrs from NYC.He also can recomend some one if you want to fish closer to NYC but the striper fishing will be better on the North Fork that time of year.
I own Abel and Tibor reels I personally think they are equal in quality and both will last forever . Some years I go on a Tibor kick and some years like this season I am on a Abel kick . I used to fish allot of jetties in New Jersey and they can be slipperier then any trout stream I ever been on and the Tibor would
Everything went smoothe. I will have to try that pattern out . Its nice to put faces with the names keep up the good work.
not looking foward to a 9 hr drive but the White is on my list of places to fish so I figured while the wife visits her freind I might as well give it a shot for a few days. not sure when i will be in that part of the country again. I will be driveing down fron NJ so whats another 9 hrs :-/I drove from NJ to Montana a few years ago was not that bad its a nice way to see new places.
I have a pair of there stocking foot hippers they are good but there chest waders get way more use They are my favorite brand of wader and lasted me alot longer
