MemberOk, Texas has beer too. The Brewhouse Brown Ale is spectacular, and the others aren’t too bad either. I haven’t seen the whole long thread, so forgive me if I repeat. Shannon

MemberPhil – what’s on tap?

Phil LandryMemberCraig-
I brew everything in 12 gallon batches: two five gallon kegs and bottle the remaining two gallons for guide trips… clients love one at the end of a day on the water.
I have one keg of a red ale (the other half went on a redfishing trip to La) that we named “Headz on Redz Ale”

MemberI gotta give a thumbs up for Bells Oberon, garnished with an orange of course.

MemberEric,
While I agree with you about the Oberon, I strongly disagree with the orange being put into it.

some of you Aussies should find a way to get Victoria Bitter into the US. that stuff is forbidden fruit to me. Green label fosters oil cans are just not the same.

MemberSo, I have been creeping around here for a while and thought that I would make my first post a resurrection of this fine thread… For quantity, I have to give the nod to the old classics… Stag, Natty Light, Bud. For quality, it is most definately Schlafly Pale Ale. I live in St. Louis and Schlafly(http://www.schlafly.com) is the other brewery in town. They also have a nice restaurant on the brewery premesis.
