MemberZach,
I too still have my original Bogan 3021 legs (20 years old now) and I can’t seem to part with them. I’ve replaced the leg locks twice but that’s it.

MemberI was fishing in Kippawa, Quebec on Lake Hunter back in June, went up with some guys I work with at Gander Mtn for walleye and pike.
I shot the moonrise on a D100 with a 17-35 AFS 2.8.
18 second exposure (at least according to the extif data)
f8
ISO 800I didn’t take my tripod along on the trip, duh, so I borrowed another guy’s spindly legged video tripod for the shot and got lucky on one sharp image.
If you’re interested, more of my Canada trip photos can be seen at:

MemberZach,
I’m armed every day, not just for fishing.
Which part of the story do you think would be good for the Rant? The drunk redneck or the fact that I carry a gun while fishing?
I like the idea of the Rant for the opening day story, I’ll give it some thought. Thanks Zach

MemberI have a 12 inch Dell that I use for my daily news work. Thing takes up no space and has a decent screen.
The 12 inch iBooks are sweet too.

MemberThat’s interesting, the same photo on the yahoo story originally posted is in the Nat Geo story about the giant squid.

MemberI spoke to the Nikon Rep this week about these rumors. According to him, that’s all they are. He assured me that until Nikon could produce a full frame camera that would sell for the price of a D2X, they wouldn’t build one.
