Great pod cast Zach and Morsie! It is the first one I have listened to in awhile and I loved it!

Morsie your photos are outstanding! That bait ball picture is so damn cool and the one with the Croc gave me shivers! Great stuff!!!

Morsie I would love to pick your brain about good Australian wine some time. Always looking for that good bottle of juice that doesn’t break the bank! πŸ˜‰

I am certainly not anti wolf either. I do however think that there has got to be a management plan in place just to insure checks and balances.

Zach, I know there is a plan that is being pushed right now, but I am not sure of the particulars of the plan. I think it is very similar to many big game hunts where they do a drawing for certain areas where the packs are a problem. The problem is that it is a tri state plan which include Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Idaho is the big hold up on the plan right now because their stance on the wolf is to kill them all and let God sort them out. Once Idaho enters the talks in a more reasonable manner it will make it much easier to come up with a plan that work for everyone.

Saying the word Wolf in my part of Montana is like saying the “F” word in church! Probably the most hated creature on earth to every rancher in the valley. Our ranch alone lost over twenty calves to a wolf pack. Nice to have them back in the park now they need to come up with a management plan.

Great report seafood! And great photos too! It’s funny actually seeing what people look like around here sometimes. I always imagined you to be the guy in your Avatar with the bull horn! πŸ™‚

Those wings really made me hungry. What flavor did you go with?

James that shot was taken with the Pentax Optio W30. It seams to be a pretty good little camera so far.

Scott I hope you weren’t looking for a day off anytime soon because after that post of Brets you could be booked solid for the next ten years! πŸ™‚

Not sure how you feel about it Scott, but a post like that is nicer than any amount of tip a customer could give you! Very cool!

in reply to: Is photo shopping false advertisement #61978

Yes it is already seeded, but there will be no grass until June of 2008 as our growing season is done here. Hopefully we will have snow soon and I won’t have to even worry about it. πŸ˜‰

Zach you bring up some very good points there. And I see nothing wrong with the photographer shooting the proper angle to eliminate something undesirable from the photo. However, when you start adding stuff to the photo via a computer program I just don’t think that is right.

Here is a perfect example of what I am talking about. This is a picture of our Creek Club at the ranch. (It is a fitness center/bar incase you are wondering.)

Our marketing company has added the grass in front of the club. Now if one of our members sees this picture and comes for a visit it puts me in an uncomfortable postion of trying to explain why there is grass in the picture and not in reality. Granted most people will understand, but there always a few that will think you are trying to pull a fast one on them.

in reply to: General purpose, go-to trout rods #20522

I am a big fan of both the Winston BIIx and the Sage Z-axis for good “all purpose” rods. Both of these rods are capable of both long and short casts and have the back bone to handle big trout when you get into them. They are both fast action rods but have soft tips on them so you can feel your line. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy either of them for an all purpose rod.

Thanks PoudreRiver! The BH is on my high priority list in the fall. I hope to never miss out on it as it is just too good for my soul! I need to get Deb down there one of these times so she can get a taste of that drug!

As far as the holdem thing goes I got really lucky. The guy I ended up going against in the final two is a great player and he easily had double the chips I had. I got some really good cards though. Twice in the last ten hands of the game I was dealt pocket aces! I’m all in baby!!!!
