MemberThank you for your answer. We won’t be going to N.Z. for awhile, but these flies will be used by a friend who recently move there from South Africa. He was a hunting guide, but became dissolutioned with the government and also felt very unsafe.. Thanks again for the info and we will use it at a later date. In the mean time will forward this info to him. Again, thanks.

Memberπ Love my bamboo rods. I fish them mostly in PA. and never travel with them. I just don’t trust the airlines. Once you get used to the cadence of the rod you don’t want anything else. I have 2 5wts. and 1 4 wt. as well as a 3 wt. Just lovely .S.D.

MemberThis hurts. I just bought my 2nd Filson veat, (the old one was falling apart) . I hope I didn’t make a mistake. Oh well I guess the instructions for use and care will be written in Chinese. What has happened to the US. Have the unions and the workers here gotten too darn greedy? Since I lost almost 40+ lbs since surgery I’ve had to buy sme new clothes. None of them have been made here. A sad commentary. S.D.

Member:-/ I was at the Woolrich Co. outlet 2 weeks ago and was talking to one of the sales men. What I found out was that it now has every thig made overseas. Most of the clothing manufacturers are outsoursing all their work. The is hope however. Filson is the only co. that still makes its products here in the US. Gives one pause to reflect on what’s happening and how long can our economy survive this. Just some random thoughts. Where is your fishing equipment and clothing made?

Member;D Funny. There is a very humorous bit on the Flyfishersparadise site. How to avoid telemarketers. Worth listening to. S.D.

Memberπ Have to go with Chotas. I have been wearing mine for the past 4 years and have only replaced the studs. I fish at least 3 times a week and these boots have also been to Scotland Nova Scotia and even during the winter when I fished they held up. S.D. By the way a Happy Holiday to one and all. π
