🙂 Hi Team, I’ve been away for a few months. (not up the river) I’ve had some problems with the heart and finally had 7 1/2 hours of open heart. Am now in cardiac rehab and did manage to get in 2 days of fishing in less than optimum conditions. In any case I know Mc Farland personally as we are from the same town. He is one of the nicest persons and a great rob maker. He built a lovely rod for my daughter. You will enjoy the rod I’m sure. Nice to be back. Silver Doc
😉 At my age they are the best things that I use on the river. They work well with bifocals and I would be lost without them. I also bought a set that has a light on the top of the unit and it does come in handy early evenings. They do have a pair of glasses in the Orvis catalog that go to I think 5x, but that is to strong and you would have to remove them everytime you finished tying on a fly. Silver Doc

😉 Zach, Good luck on your finals and even better luck in the lawyer market. I guess your future begins soon. I remember when I finished my Residency program and was on my own. Boy, was it intimidating. There was no one to help and you felt stark naked. When I look back after 38 years I often wonder what the heck was on my mind. 😮 It all comes together after the initial shock is over. Again all the best to you and Lauren. ;D After you have a small skin cancer removed from your nose, that was caused by too much exposure to the sun; you will switch to a wide brim. I looked and looked and finally settled on the Tilley and haven’t been sorry. Also use some sun blocker. Silver Doc
