I had the wonderful opportunity this past Saturday to attend a family reunion for someone on my wife’s side of the family…what a rockin good time it was…yeah right.

Anyway…it was in the Poconos and low and behold the park was adjacent to a beautiful little Brook trout stream.

A friend of mine had one of the 7 piece (I think) Redington rods.

    Seafood,

I had a chance to use one of Bean’s 9 piece 8 weights on a trip to the Bahamas a couple of years ago.

Redington. Fished all over including Scotland. Nice rod.

I still like my Redington 5wt 5p fished it a lot, I actually prefer it to the newer model which is stiffer but I have nicer 4pieces in that style of rod. The Redington is like a relaxed old friend.

TFOs have their professional series 9’5 – 6wt and 8wt in 6 pieces, pretty similar to the 4pieces, maybe a touch more sluggish int he action but suprisingly good

Were very popular with our Harley riding customers in my previous store.

    Cheers

I have a Hidden Waters 7 piece 8.5′ 5 wt (Baden Powell Special) that casts very well and is extremely compact, like 18″ (well you can do the math

I have a Hidden Water 7 piece (9ft) 7wt that is a pleasure to cast. As mentioned they have some nice discounts online.

    Good travel rod.
