MemberHey Eric ..
Personally, I would just send the disk. There are a few things I have learned along the way.
– If the image has been published already, it can not be a part of the “batch” registration and needs to be registered individually.
– I am not 100%, but I think you need to limit group of “batch” photo registration to the year they were shot.. ??? Double check me on this.
– You can upload your images to https://www.imagerights.com/ and for a fee you can have them do the registration for you. The advantage is that they will also then be looking for misuse of your photos. These guys are GREAT to work with.

MemberJust noticed this thread .. I’ll give a +1 for Korkers.
I have been wearing the guide boots for over a year now and I LOVE them. Convert from Simms and I wont be going back. They are super light weight and the Boa system rocks. Can’t wait to get my hands on a pair with the new sole system. I had a chance to check them out earlier this year and I’m pretty excited.

MemberNice idea for a thread. Made me go back and realize that I had a absolutely fantastic year!
Nice shots everyone!
It was tough to narrow it down to one photo. I ended up choosing between this, a bug pic, and a fish pic. I’d have to put this down for my personal fav of the year though.

MemberHaha .. That is awesome Phil.
Im used to mags and ezines etc wanting stuff and offering “free protion” in return. They want to make money, grow circulation etc but not pay contributors. It is what it is.
I had a photo essay run in in the December issue of The Contemporary Sportsman. They do pay their contributors, which is pretty damn cool IMO. They are the first online fly fishing magazine, that I know of, that pays. Hopefully, this will help to change the way other online mags do things. 🙂

MemberI think it would make an interesting story in a magazine – particularly if it was a bonefish or exploratory trip to some of the old Pacific bases used in WWII. I’m guessing local governments might consider chipping in some of the costs to increase tourism exposure as well?
Couldnt agree more … Sounds like a a great story and visual/photo opportunity.
