Hey Mike … There is some info on the Bob Atkins site, link below. I have a couple older non-canon lenses that I use. Initially, I went with the version that will use the electronics and tell you when something is in focus. However, it had issues now and again. I just ended up stripping the electronics off the converter. So, I’d prob just save yourself a couple bucks and skip the electronic versions. πŸ˜€

If I were doing a a good amount of online sales, I’d go with photoshelter. Looks great. They have some very clean (customizable) templates, nice cart system, and wordpress integration. The graphpaper press integration is cool … Does the photoshelter cart system integrate into the graphpaper templates? I didnt think it did. The only downside IMO is the cost. Personally, I find zenfolio adequate for my current needs, which are mainly display and providing high-rez downloads… and its far (relative) less expensive.  😎

edit: that new uno theme is pretty clean πŸ™‚

    Liked the article also Zach.

I am of course a little bias but think you made an excellent choice choosing the Boulder boat as your top pick. Recently Corey Kruitbosch and I hooked up and floated and fished. We fished out of my boat the first day on the Missouri and out of a Clacka the next day on the Madison. It has been a while since I have rowed another persons boat and I was stunned at how less responsive the Clacka was compared to my Boulder Boat. I think Corey was too. Needless to say I bet Corey ends up with a Boulder Boat someday. πŸ˜‰

Of the 7 models of boats I rowed this year I felt a the most comfortable in a Clacka HS. Being a big dude, along with the safety advantage of the HS, I felt a HS was a good fit for me. However, after rowing Joels BBW low side… I felt very comfortable in it and was going to go with the low side. Until, Joel found me a used BBW HS up in Missoula. So, thanks to Joel and with the amount of savings to be had I threw down on the HS BBW. Β I’ll be headed to MT to pick it up and put it in the water for the first time in a couple weeks! Hopefully, Joel can make it down to Twin Bridges to float for a day or two! πŸ˜‰

Plus .. Those BBW boats are pretty sexy!

Not only that, but in my return letter I suggested that they ad a 40″ marker on the rod – like they do with 12″ and 20″ on bigger the G2 rods.

40″??? I would have thought more like 50″.

I find it serves as a good starting point for negotiations.

I have it also and it does serve as a great starting point to negotiate pricing.

So, I guess it would be wrong to walk about 50′ upstream and urinate in the water with the guy hogging the hole watching?

I prob wouldnt do that if he was chucking streamers.
