wow…i think i should start moving some feathers…is there much of a demand for cream colored saddles?
ie light cahill colored…or are they really just buying grizzlie hackles

Bonefish…the fish that largely made catching any trout smaller than 20 inches completely irrelevant for me…

Brian, i spent alot of time fishng those waters…the biggest myth of all is the need for tippet that light… ESPECIALLY if the water is off color…work on drift and presentation and you can catch those fish on 2 x… seriously…

Based on my experience with Bonefish in the keys, which are generally regarded as a bit tougher, I would say choosing wisely as far as your patterns go is key.

mike i would think that a photo such as the ones you posted, with a nice big recognizable fly in mouth, would be something a print guy would be interested in.

a merkin crab the size of a half dollar or a little better tied with a tan yarn, picked out, dabbed with some flex cement, and colored up with a marker catches just about anything in the salt…

I’m gonna cast a vote for Loomis streamdance HLS…little pricey but i have a 9ft 5 wt and love it…i fish everything with it…dries, nymphs, streamers…(although if the main objective is streamer fishing i pull out the 6wt gl3…thats a great get muddy rod.

John, can you give the stats for that image? ISO f stop shutterspeed, etc.?
