Colin M.Membernice work, the look down fish is neat…
Colin M.Memberwhat about a place like argentina? Already loads of non native trout even salmon in the coastal waters…i think it would be an ideal place for introducing searun taimen as well.
Colin M.Membernice work! i was out with a buddy of mine and his two setters a few weeks ago, flushed lots of birds but no kills…little cover had the birds flushing a little faster…maybe next time!
Colin M.MemberAmazing fish and photos Mr. Church… Nice work!

Colin M.MemberI second the Exodus….that pack is awesome…
Colin M.MemberHere’s a cooooool trip i did it when i was out there for two months… 1st things first, get a delormme gazetteer….then head out from denver south towards colorado springs, very west and shoot for deckers… park there and hike into the cheeseman cannon fish that a day or two…then head west towards buena vista… you can fish the arkansas a day or so, or explore high mountain lakes in the area, then shoot over the pass, check out the collegiate peaks, and fish the taylor…technical yes…but that trip from denver to deckers, deckers to buena vista, then over the divide to taylor is AWESOME and breathtaking…and you’ll get into som good fish as well…
Colin M.Membercrazy sweet dude….crazy sweet…
Colin M.Memberguinnessssss hands down..
Colin M.MemberMichael,
I havent check the archives yet, but would you care to share a few carp patterns, I know that big nymphs with lots of life and crayfish immitations are a good starting point, do you have any other suggestions? maybe you could start a thread in the flytying section…
Colin M.Membergreat photos by the way, gotta love the diversity in the color schemes of those fish, some almost black, some classic browns, and some with few to no spots…great work…

Colin M.MemberThanks, just trying to back you up and show that there is an awful lot you can do with a “simple” point and shoot…
glad you enjoyed some of the photos…
Colin M.Membersee any brook trout? i imagine you were in chile the majority of the time??
Colin M.MemberAlot of the vids and photos of guys i’ve seen wading down there show that waders aren’t always the ticket.
Colin M.MemberI was just throwing a SA trout line, but it works for the waters i fish the most.
Colin M.Memberthanks for the heads up!

Colin M.Membera few more illustrating macro capabilities as well as some shots to give you and idea of the underwater ability…remember these cameras are 1/8th the cost of dslr’s and about the size of a pack of cigarettes (not that i smoke, but its the most comparable thing i could think of)
the last shot is one of my favorites, just thought it was kind of neat i could get the hopper to stay there long enough for the picture…again… right place…right time…
