EP Batifish style minnows come to mind, but they are not a quick tie.

I fish from a kayak 100% of the time. First things first, take every precautionary measure to be sure you arrive home safe at the end of a trip. Always pack food and water because you just never know.

Take your kayak out on the water with a buddy and just take a couple of falls from it and make sure you can reenter while by yourself. I could go on and on, but most of all just have fun!

I will see what I can do to get it sold. I usually know of someone always looking for a Native Ultimate.

This year, The Fly Shop advertised that each of the patterns on the 32 pages of flies in their catalog has it’s own tying recipe on their website.  That makes it even easier to figure out the flies (and spend money on materials at their shop).

    That’s funny, I can’t find one.

Zach, have you seen the Go Pro HD? I have had one for months now and it is awesome and rivals big time video camcorders when it comes to quality.

Zach, funny you should mention that as I am on the lookout right now for a stand up paddle myself. This is the cheapest I have found:

IMHO for the ultimate you need a 230-240cm paddle. People just dont realize how much a paddle will make your float more fun and easier on your body. I have a Werner and they make a great paddle but are pricey.

I just purchased a copic and looking forward to using it. I fish a lot of poppers here in the south for bass.

Peter, I am setting up to the do the same thing here in SE OK / SW AR.

I will be guiding for spotted / smallies / largemouth out of some of my favorite warm water flows. I plan on offering kayak trips but as soon as I get a raft, I will be guiding out of it. (IMO it opens up a lot of business who would rather float down the river with a guide in the same boat to handle fly changes etc…)

Good advice has already been given. Good luck!
