Umm a charter to NZ would be tens of thousands… it’s further than it looks. Commercial air has very cheap flights Aus to NZ but LAX to NZ would be the most economic option.

Yep, what Morsie said… it does sound like you are using too much weight for the length you have between the nymph and the indicator… either lengthen the tippet or lighten the fly depending on the circumstances… this can change from pool to pool, run to run and riffle to riffle and is half the fun of nymphing.

Anyone know if you can check stove fuel (propane, etc.) in checked luggage on an airline. I could definitely see why they might ban this particular item, but I am going to need to get propane to Yellowstone (or get some in Jackson), somehow.

GREAT casting site that many of the finest casters and anglers on the planet frequent, also quirky, irreverant, and at times right out there in discussions on politics, religion, whatever – and best of all its not cliquey and regional, its definitely world wide. Sometimes its like being in a pub at about 11 o’clock at night. Many world wide friendships (and enemies) have been made there.

The other day I was in a car dealers waiting room while the car was being serviced, there was myself and about 5 or 6 mums.
They were talking about having contracts with the boys who want to date your daughter and I got a good laugh all around when I said the contract would be 100% you touch it, dad kicks the crap out of you – end of argument and saves on lawyers (sorry, Zach ;))..
I always used just one small sentence and it seemed to get the point across.

I have just had my daughter (Now 21) and my Grand-daughter visit for a week the joy of fatherhood of a daughter is amplified again when they have a daughter of their own….
plus “Poppa Clark” doesn’t have to change nappies 😀
