    I got a copy too.
    It’s indeed very different from any other fly fishing movie I’ve seen so far.
    Very professional filming as well as great script. Pretty much a documentary worth of National Geographic broadcasting.

    After reading the early parts of this thread last week, I decided to order the DVD from Hatches Magazine. Received the DVD yesterday and all I can say is wow. Like others have said it is unlike other fly fishing films out there right now. It is not your typical grip-n-grin film. The cinematography is outstanding, probably the best I have ever seen in a fly fishing film. There are beautiful nature shots and some great casting shots. Overall, the film is outstanding and I would suggest that you check it out.

    it makes me think

    Why the little mice want to cross the river!!!

    #36939

    I am pretty sure the mice want to cross the river because Carl is throwing hunks of cheese accross the river to lure them over- 😉

    It’s simply awesome!

    Amazon has it for $29.95. Do I want the”PAL” ot “NTSC” version?

    I’m lost when it comes to the terminology.

    NTSC = USA

    Last week I was really lucky or something since I won a copy of this DVD from the 40 Rivers to Freedom (http://hatchesmagazine.com/blogs/40rivers/) blog written by Alex Cerveniak.

    Ordered my copy on June 1st with the free shipping. It arrived today at 2:00 p.m.

    Watched it on the big screen this evening. One word…..Wow!

    Steve-Take me with you—

    Well,

    I received my copy of “Once in a Blue Moon” and got a chance to watch it on the big TV with good speakers.

    My wife sat down and watched it with me. All I can say is, it is even better on the big screen with surround sound. My wife really enjoyed it too. She even said she wanted to go on Amazon and leave a review. She has never done that before.

    I’m working from memory here….but I think it is 36 minutes in length. I ordered mine from Amazon. Make sure you get the NTSC version if you are in the U.S.
