Great thread. There is really so much quality out there that it is really hard to keep up with everything that is going on with the forums, blogs, and websites.
Besides I.A. I spend most of my online forum time on Fiberglass Flyrodders (http://fiberglassflyrodders.yuku.com/).
Kevin Powell has been working hard on his site, red dirt studio, and reintroduced it this week.
Matt…getting past those few couple trips with the DSLR will put you at ease and you’ll carry it with you most of the time I suspect.
Fellows…thanks for keeping this thread going with more great information. I picked up my kayak a few weeks ago and though I haven’t spent as much time fishing out of it as I would have liked I am still REALLY enjoying it a lot.
Already gave it the T.F.M. treatment so it’s repping on the water and out.
Last weekend I picked up the paddle that I ordered, a AquaBound FinStalker, carbon shaft/carbon blades with the TLC connection. I am really liking this paddle and glad that I had the shop order it.
I like using the Boga Grip for pickerel and pike. I’d leave the net at the house.

Last week I was really lucky or something since I won a copy of this DVD from the 40 Rivers to Freedom (http://hatchesmagazine.com/blogs/40rivers/) blog written by Alex Cerveniak.
DT…it always seems that there is some new Hex pattern, along with foam boards of all the old classic ones too, that adorn the walls and fly bins of the fly shops in the Grayling area.
Mike B….I’d stick to the Bozeman made models…but I know that you’re kind of a penny pinching miser so the imported model might win out.
Fellows…I appreciate all the opinions so far. I’ve been using a pair of Simms L2’s for a few years now and they are about won out. Seams are busting out and the Aquastealth is worn pretty thin. I’ll be really interested to see how this Stream Thread compares to Aquastealth.
I guess I should have also mentioned that I really like a boot to have good ankle support.
