Zach, not to go all lawyer on you or anything, but technically speaking, employing 12-14 year olds in a factory *is* using child labor.
If you’re going to bait fish, I don’t guess it would be much different from fishing for bluegill with a cane pole.

Even with the bogas, I think it’s necessary to put a second hand back on the belly to support the weight of the fish, rather than leaving it hanging by its jaw parts. Same goes without the boga when lifting up a big bass, catfish, etc., IMHO.
I don’t want it on my conscience that some fish thrashed around and got his face ripped off.
By the way:
If it feels good, and it’s legal, then do it.
That’s all well and good until somebody shows up at the trout stream wearing a cheerleader outfit and an angora sweater…

The irony of this whole “political correctness” issue is that I haven’t met a single person who is offended by people saying Merry Christmas, but so many people get offended if if you say “Happy Holidays” that it has become politically incorrect to say anything BUT Merry Christmas.
The Caney is not as bad as Cordell or Old Hickory during generation – there’s just not as much water coming through.
