Mark, check you local area for a place that sells knitting supplies.  I have found it in these speciality sewing stores in my local area.

Mike, I really like the baby legs alive.  I’ve used it on Wolly Bugger tails instead of flash and had good results with it.  The material he has is very good and the prices are great too.

We had a safety meeting at work where they showed us the tick removal tool.  It was a thin tapered piece of metal with a notch cut in the end.  You were to gently slide it under the tick and get his head in the notch and gently pull him out.

Two week later I got a tick on me.  No tool, broke off the body, tried self surgery (not recommended) and still ended up at the doctor to remove the head.  I am glad that the lyme test was negative.

I will have one of those tick tools when I can find out where to buy one.

Great report Scott and really great pictures.

Those are some really nice fish you caught in places that most people would walk on by.  I hope that I can connect with a serial killer in Eastern PA that wants to show me some great places to dispose of my body.

Ha Scott!  Nice truck, great deal, and good for America!! 🙂

Looks like you are already enjoying it.   I bet you can’t wait to get that new fish smell in it.

    Enjoy

So for that reason, I steer away from any surgery unless I just have to have it.

I had the nose surgery and what was to be day surgery ended up being in the hospital for 3 days.  I could not breath because of the anastesia they used.

So like you I said not to any more surgery and use the CPAP too.  It may be one more thing to take along, but I wouldn’t be without it.

    Great picture-book.
I would have liked a bit more explanation of where they are fishing, what equipment they are using, which settings they use, etc.

    I would too!!

You’re right Simon, if we believe all the crap that’s thrown at us 24/7 we’re all about to drown in a rising ocean, burn to death, get blown away by giant storms, relive the Grapes of Wrath or die of the flu.  >:( >:( >:( >:( 😀

Every day above ground is a good old day it seems. 😎

    Morsie

I agree with Morsie.  We live in Chicken Little World and people today don’t know how to enjoy nature and life. Any day fishing or being out in nature is a good old day for me.

Take you child, grandchild and dog to the stream and let them show you how to live the good old days. 🙂
