Historic first build of the original “1939 Trapper” I built several years ago.

I have no loyalty to rod companies, I own Winstons, Sage, Scott, TFO, St. Croix, Loop, etc..I used to be a BIG sage guy. (RPL and LL years).
Scott made the G for 25 years, realtively unchanged until the G2.
Cliffs. super days worth, days worth and big cliffs are cool and they are made with a nice material.

Talking to several other rod builders, they too are saying that “good quality” cork is in high demand now.
Sounds like a birthday problem to me. Getting older does that. 😉 I have a couple of old injuries that tend to cause issues, but they have more to do with getting to the water than casting once I get there (back and knee). I’d say have an sports med doc of some type look at it.

Laugh if you will, this is what I used to quickly and fairly whoop hundreds of great lakes steelhead with in the early to mid 90s. college kid with no money back then.
That’s a great price, I have no room for a 2 piece rod.Thanks for the feedback Zach. Glad to know I didn’t post a stupid/unreasonable price. I liked it the few times I fished it, but with a two year old at home and another on the way I just don’t get out that much anymore. Someone else can put this to a lot better use than I can. Not to mention a few extra bucks will support a photography habit that I have more time for than fishing. 🙂
It has been proven time and time again that pepper spray is a better deterrant than a firearm in the hands of even the most skilled shooter.
