I have the same rod, other than the flex rating mine is a 82 yours is a 78, but I’m not sure that would change things.

I know how you feel, my house was broken into in July.

I contacted brinks, about an alarm system and I also have no land lines. For a extra few bucks a month they have a radio broadcast box that will get the job done.

I also went out today to a “private” lake for a few hours, hooked in to over 50 LMB and brought 40 to the shore. All on the same Slama Jama fly that Neal tied up for me, it looks a little worse for wear, but it still is going strong.
