    Sounds like fun!

    As for line, look for a 300 grain streamer/sinking line, rio outbound ect…

    350 grain wet tip express (braided core) from SA is puurfect. The SA Streamer express (mono core) is very nice line to but IMO not tough enough for Striper fishing in rivers.

    Abe,
    That sounds awesome, you were out with a master, Dean is modest.
    What size fly did you use and did you stick with the Clouser or go to one of Dean’s flies?

    I was still using a clouser, I think in a 4 or a 6.
