Ouch.

[Zach Matthews]

I am fairly certain Simms makes a product designed to spray on boots to fight whirling disease, but I am also fairly certain that most game biologists have conceded this battle.

[Zach Matthews]

Yeah we better do it for two reasons.

[Zach Matthews]

It would be neat to start some “cult” following after these little rods…

Hahaha, I’d be up for that.

[Zach Matthews]

You have a good point there, Greg.

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Paul –

Catching up on some posts I missed here.

[Zach Matthews]

In truth you can match any rod with any line within about 2 sizes up or down and have a fishable setup, if the fisherman can already cast.

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Jack –

I’ve read that you Irish can handle up to 8 flies at once in a ‘cast’ (American translation: a group of droppers, I think).

[Zach Matthews]

Eggs are a fact of life in the southern tailwaters, as they are a food source for about 4-6 months of the year.

[Zach Matthews]

I’m not sure where Mt. Rogers is, but I’ve been out and around a bit lately.

[Zach Matthews]

One thing at a time, Cameron. *G*

[Zach Matthews]

I’ve come around to the school of thought that says a reel is more of a hands-on tool than an automated machine.

[Zach Matthews]

You guys crack me up.

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

Hey Ian

The standard is the 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR, but that’s a very expensive lens.

Hey Rip –

[Zach Matthews]

Hey dunfly –

What they call skipjack and what you and I are used to calling skipjack (aka ladyfish) aren’t the same thing.

[Zach Matthews]

Hahaha, yeah, I built it:

Needs to be rebuilt, though.

[Zach Matthews]

I keep losing posts!

I have a Teeny 425 on the new TFO and I do have a #7.

Also, check your PMs. This trip could be good for something besides fishing.

Zach

[Zach Matthews]

As promised.

[Zach Matthews]

I was there on Thursday.
