    Hey Nate –

That’s a good idea; I’ve actually interviewed Ryan for the magazine before and I think he’s a cool guy.

Well, we’ve returned from Yellowstone National Park, at least as far as our home base in Arkansas.  It was a great trip.  I landed two fish over 20 inches, one from Yellowstone Lake and one from the Yellowstone River.  Lauren caught a grayling, a lot of brookies, a few fat cutties, and she drew a classic strike from a big 19″er that threw the hook.  Great fishing.

As I said above, we fished all over the Park, so here are some selected images.  The Photoblog will be front loaded for about a month with these so keep checking for new ones.

    Hey guys –

Dunno on the knee, it seems to be getting better today though. I wish I could have kept the antlers, but the Yellowstone rules forbid it and they’re kinda hard to sneak out with if you know what I’m saying.

Slough Creek was a blast, but I seem to have messed up my knee pretty bad.

    Rusty –

People’s popup blockers may be causing trouble – they pop up but if you have them blocked you have to look up in the upper-right hand corner where it says, “Hey, Okieff, you have X Messages, X are new.”

I was talking to a Sony rep today, and he was telling me a bit about the Sony DSLR – we got talking about sensors, etc, and he mentioned Sony making sensors for Nikon. I asked him why Nikon hasn’t come out with a full frame camera yet as an answer to the D5, and he rather grinned and said “Because we haven’t felt like making them a sensor until we get ours on the market first”
