In regards to the magazine business, you have to realize that fly fishing magazines are very, very understaffed.

I was frankly shocked that Nikon effectively checked out of the megapixel game where they did.
I wore the waders in Jackson for a couple days when they came out, and I’ve seen Ian Crabtree use his pretty extensively.
I admit my own specialization in outdoor, daylit shots is probably a fairly small slice of the market – but not THAT small.

It seems to be a boating affair only; I haven’t located anywhere with passable wading carp water yet.
It has to do with the color spaces the browsers display and whether or not they support the space you chose for your image.
That is true, Spencer, and the Madison brown above was taken in August, with no pre-spawn activity, while the Little Red Brown was during the early fall (I think in early October), when pre-spawn activity was starting and the fish were beginning to color up.
I gathered that it is brand new, Jeff – they certainly had Orvis Endorsed Bahamas Guide shirts on.

I have also noticed the extreme difference in the amount of red/ochre tones in fish caught in Arkansas (where they can be almost orange) and in Montana (where most seem to be sort of cerulean to teal blue).
