The magnets I was describing are long strips of “rare earth” magnets that have been extruded to make these pockets that just leap back together.

Lando –

I think there was a Rio Carp line but I honestly can not remember.

No South Africans.

It is a lighter and more flexible version of the TCR, built on the same taper with Sage’s G5 technology (*whatever that is – all I know is it makes it lighter and more flexible).

Eric –

I am going to make an attempt to make the CSS switchable from dark to light for the photoblog.

[Zach Matthews]

Thanks for the feedback, guys.

I would agree with that 100% Will, but also add that digital does such a poor job of rendering highlights that people have become tone deaf to what good black and white should look like.

[Zach Matthews]

I would go the other way and get a medium action 6 weight.

[Zach Matthews]

Actually, Bob, that is working out for me.

[Zach Matthews]

Glad to see they turned the power back on Carter.

[Zach Matthews]

Tim are you still driving the U-Haul to Denver?

[Zach Matthews]

I am currently playing Delta Roulette with the online booking seat thingie.

Looks very good, Neal.  A bit of a halo around the rubber legs but nothing critical.

[Zach Matthews]

Rich I don’t mean to argue with you but what book of poetry are you referring to?

[Zach Matthews]

Gizmodo faked me out – they posted a pic of some boots and said they were at 1600ISO, when in reality they were 6400ISO (as they corrected):

http://gizmodo.com/5047193/sony-a900-246+megapixel-full+frame-dslr-official-only-3000

Not as bad as the D70 at all.

[Zach Matthews]

ISO 6000 would certainly be good enough for any newspaper and most magazines.

John –

Will you post instructions sometime on your method for applying post-processing with graduated neutral density effects?

Thanks,
Zach

I had all the previews coming in at 2,000 x 1,000 pixels (roughly 2 megapixels – pretty high for 40,000 images).

[Zach Matthews]

I am in the process of upgrading from Lightroom 1.0 – I got sick of the slow speeds.
