Tim AngeliMemberlooks like you bought out the Kelly’s store. im guessing that was the Slide Inn?
Actually, most of those I tied up in preparation for this trip.
Tim AngeliMemberThose are awesome shots there and some equally awesome fish.
Tim AngeliMembercontact Frying Pan Anglers and ask for either Mike Calcaterra or Dan Cone. Both are great guys and will steer you in the right direction.
I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when i read that….I was roommates with both of those guys for a summer. Great guys, Mike and I still keep in touch all the time. We used to tear it up pretty good. Anyway, I agree with his suggestions, stop in at Pan Anglers and tell Mike that Tim says hi.
I’ve only fished the Pan in the winter, but midges were on fire then, which I believe is nothing out of the ordinary for the Pan.

Tim AngeliMemberLooks like a heck of a trip guys.
Tim AngeliMemberTo answer a few of the questions:
Yes, I am sleeping in the back of my suburban.
Tim AngeliMemberJust FYI, this is an EXTREMELY pic heavy post so you will likely have to hit the refresh button numerous times to get them all to load. There are pics posted all throughout the post and the “…” doesn’t even always show up when the pictures don’t load.
Sorry, but I don’t know how to remedy this and, after sitting here for the vast majority of the day trying to get this post up, I’m giving up and heading to see if Galloup’s place is still open and then off to possibly catch the caddis on the Madison.
Enjoy,
Tim
Tim AngeliMemberDo you sell those?
Tim AngeliMemberThat is some AWESOME stuff Matt. Definitely top notch. I can’t say enough about those photos, great stuff there. I love #2! Damn dude, I’m going to be revisiting these pictures to get my fix for a long time into the future.

Tim AngeliMemberGrand Tetons (which I believe is French for Big Tits)
Bob, this is precisely the reason that Grand Teton is my favorite of the National Parks.
All, I will post a pic of that streamer once I get a chance to shoot just the streamer.
Tim AngeliMemberI recently made my own, and I would highly recommend it over buying one.
Tim AngeliMemberVery cool shot Lauren!

Tim AngeliMemberI use about 12-18″ of 20lb maxima connected to about 24″ of 12lb maxima by a blood knot.
Tim AngeliMemberZach,
Your wedding story hits home.
Tim AngeliMemberZach, I love that stitched panorama shot!
Tim AngeliMemberYou might want to check out Culebra….an island, which I believe is off the coast of Puerto Rico. It’s always a possibility that I’m remembering my info wrong though.
Tim AngeliMemberSorry about the pictures guys, I’ll try to fix that.
Tim AngeliMemberEnjoy whatever you decide on!
Tim AngeliMemberJust a thought, but I used to guide with a buddy that swore by the Orvis Vortex reel.
Tim AngeliMemberDave,
I might be in that area then depending on when exactly in September you are thinking.
