    Guys-

    I have been lucky enough to travel to the the BVI for the past 2 Thanksgivings 2007 / 2008.

    i’d have to do some research on where we stayted in 1998 to the east of san juan.

    from google maps it looks like the jetty at calle ashford x calle magdalena.

    I believe Andrew Wright has fished Puerto Rico, mostly for bones – he may chime in here.

    The San Juan lagoon system is full of tarpon and there are several guides who fish it.

    Thanks much guys, I will hopefully be booking this flight within the next couple weeks and will figure out for sure if I will be in Puerto Rico.

    If you’re really intent on tarpon fishing you should look into the town of Boqueron, just south of Cabo Rojo.

    You might want to check out Culebra….an island, which I believe is off the coast of Puerto Rico.  It’s always a possibility that I’m remembering my info wrong though.
