Great pics Zach. I find it humorous that you are fishing right there at Calhoun’s…we tailgated right close by last fall for the Auburn/Tenn game.  🙂

I have been told to get a K&N, I think that’s the name. Anyway I need it, I currently get ~12mpg. I have a 03 GMC 2500 truck (no hd=no deisel)…it takes a couple of hundred $ to drive anywhere but it can haul a boat like it’s not even there. I have been fishing close to home lately b/c college football is in swing.

I believe a K&N will net 3-5 mpgs more than you get now.

I totally agree with Peddler. Take the raft. I have fished out of both and everybody should start with a raft. Easy to learn with and will take a beating. Master that and then graduate to a drifter.

Judging by the rocks, I’d say that is the S. Holston. 🙂

I’ve always wanted a T&T LPS 4wt and a T&T Horizon 9wt…..never cared enough to buy an Abel anything. Unfortunately, the bigger companies get the quality tends to start going down.

Never heard of Wild on the Fly…will have to look for it. Agree on the others. Gray’s Fly Fishing issue is a definite must have.
