What do you like and dislike in a flyfishing mag?

Perhaps I am a purist when is comes to flyfishing but I would like to see a magazine dedicated to trout fishing.

Most mainstream fly fishing magazines seem to repackage the same information over and over from year to year.

Never heard of Wild on the Fly…will have to look for it. Agree on the others. Gray’s Fly Fishing issue is a definite must have.

The only fly fishing magazine I subscribe too is Midwest Fly Fishing, because they have what I want in a publication.

If I were an editor I would make it an absolute policy to not publish any articles with detailed kiss and tell information on small,

Zach, I like to see some reviews, esp. new equipment. Being a non-world traveler, I really don’t care about Argentina,Russia, or where ever the new hot spot is. Even with a lottery in my future,( And that seems pretty low if I’ve figured the odds out right) there are more than enough spots here in North America that I’d like to fish. Also Like TxFlyBum, I’d like the state by state thing.Guy
