Hey guys-

Of all the companies in the world you WOULDN’T pick to buy out two of the largest names in American fly fishing, Sharp’s of Aberdeen has got to be right up there with Loon or Quarrow Rods!

But, Sharp’s must have some SERIOUS capitalization, because they just freaking BOUGHT Thomas and Thomas AND Abel in one megamerger!

By my calculations, that makes Sharp’s one of the larger tackle dealers in the world and gives them reels, clothes, rods – all from quality companies.

History being made, guys.

I’ve always wanted a T&T LPS 4wt and a T&T Horizon 9wt…..never cared enough to buy an Abel anything. Unfortunately, the bigger companies get the quality tends to start going down.
